ABOUT THE INTERNSHIP
The Feminist Majority Foundaiton offers internships throughout the year in our Washington, DC and Los Angeles offices. Interns work full or part-time during the spring and fall semesters, or full-time during the summer. Full-time interns work 35-40 hours a week, while part-time interns must commit at least 20 hours per week. Regular office hours are 9:30-6:00 but interns may tailor their hours to fit school and work schedules. All who are interested are encouraged to apply.
Interns are an essential part of the Feminist Majority Foundation offices. They perform a wide variety of responsibilities, including monitoring press conferences and coalition meetings, researching information, attending rallies, and organizing events. Each intern works closely with a staff member in order to learn from direct hands on experience and contribute to substantive projects. Interns work in one or more of the following areas:

Work on current campus initiatives including: Emergency Contraception Campaign, Reproductive Rights Campaign, Get Out Her Vote, Young Women's Leadership Conferences, Violence Against Women Programs, and our Anti-Sweatshop Campaign.
